Summertime Wednesday Evening Worship
Beginning Wednesday, July 11, 2018, we are adding a mid-week worship time, gathering from 6:00 to 6:45 p.m.
Join us in Fellowship Hall for an inspirational time of renewed devotion, prayer and communion as the members of the BBC family share their personal reflections, prayers, gifts and talents with the Brewster Community in the spirit of worship.
We encourage all to attend, and invite friends, neighbors and co-workers who would otherwise not be able to attend worship on Sunday morning.
Our Regular Worship Schedule
We have three services each Sunday.
- 8:00 and 9:30 a.m. – With contemporary songs, lead by our Praise and Worship Team
- 11:00 a.m. - A "more traditional" format, accompanied by the Church Choir
Childcare is available in our nurseries during all service for children Infant – Age 5.
During the 8:00 service we also offer a separate Children's Worship time. About halfway through the service, children kindergarten through 4th grade may leave the Sanctuary to attend their own worship time upstairs in the Chapel, which lasts approximately 30-40 minutes. The kids have a chance to worship, and they learn about, discuss, and have activities planned around the worship theme for the week and the major "elements" of the service ("Why we pray for folks in our congregation," for example). It's a safe place to ask questions, and it's fun, too!
During the 9:30 service, we offer Sunday School for all ages. The children all come together for a short time of worship, then separate into their classes for the morning’s lesson. This year, our children and students are working through “The Story” by Zondervan.
"Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly... as you sing psalms, hymns and spiritual songs with gratitude in your hearts to God." Colossians 3:16
There is an extensive media ministry at the church. Most of our services are videotaped and are recorded on disk. The weekly messages are available online from the Messages page, and you can find many of them on the Brewster Baptist YouTube Channel, too. An edited videotape is shown on AT & T Broadband community access television each week. The video and audio disks are available to borrow from the church library.
If you would like to provide flowers in memory or honor of someone, please contact Pat Foot, or the church office, 508-896-3381.
