The Power of Encouragement

Bible Book of the Month: Acts

The legacy of Barnabas was encouragement. Learning from his life and example, I want to share with you six characteristics of an encouraging person. There are at least six habits, behaviors, and attitudes through which we can be a source of encouragement.

From Series: "Bible Book of the Month: Acts"

The Acts of the Apostles is the fifth book in the New Testament. The book of Acts deals with the history of the earliest Christian church and includes a major section on the career of Paul. New Testament scholars agree that the book of Acts and the Gospel of Luke were written by the same person. Most tend to date the two books around A.D. 80-85.
