Brewster Baptist Missions

Being an instrument of God's Spirit involves sharing our faith and helping people in need both in our community and around the world, so Brewster Baptist Church has a strong commitment to Missions.

Our Mission Support of The American Baptist Churches of USA (ABCUSA) enables us to join with other Churches to make a greater difference in the world.  In addition, we support (both financially and with hands-on service) mission work in our local community, region and world as well as respond to mission emergencies and opportunities.

Caring Cupboard - Administering BBC's food pantry within the Brewster community

Carpenter's Helpers - Providing "Handy(wo)man" services at people's homes on an as-needed basis.

Food Certificates - Selling food certificates after worship services to benefit the Interfaith Council for the Homeless.

Habitat for Humanity of Cape Cod

Coordinating and building affordable housing on Cape Cod.

LOCAL (Lower Cape Lunch) – Providing Tuesday lunches and Thursday dinners for anyone in need at St Joan of Arc Church in Orleans.

Overnights of Hospitality - Chaperoning, driving, welcoming, or preparing food for homeless women at the church on the 3rd and 5th Sundays of each month.

Global Missions

Operation Christmas Child - Coordinating the November all-church, all-ages event to full shoeboxes with gifts for children around the world

Mission Work Trip - Traveling and working with a mission team to help people while sharing the good news of Jesus to work sites.

Partners in Progress - Maintaining communication with Eastern Theological College in Northeast India, and promoting support from the congregation.
