List of all ministries

The church is organized into ten Core Ministries; you don’t need to be a member of the church to participate in a ministry.

Worship

The Worship Core Ministry works closely with the Pastoral Staff to provide worship services and experiences that draw people closer to God, encouraging them to grow in spiritual maturity, and become more fully devoted followers of Christ.

Spiritual Formation

The Spiritual Formation Ministry is responsible for providing opportunities for serving and spiritual formation to help our congregation become more like Jesus through classes, small groups, and other opportunities for spiritual growth.

Family

The Family Core Ministry is responsible for providing opportunities for serving, fellowship, and spiritual formation for both parents and children as they seek to follow Jesus as a family both at home and in the church. This is done through classes, groups, and other experiences to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Students

The Students Core Ministry is responsible for providing opportunities for education, fellowship, and spiritual formation through classes, groups, and other experiences to develop fully devoted followers of Jesus Christ.

Community Life and Fellowship

The Community Life and Fellowship Core Ministry is responsible for arranging opportunities that nurture and deepen relationships among BBC Covenant Members, congregation, and its extended community, creating a loving, caring community of believers who demonstrate the fruit of the Spirit by loving Christ and each other with friendliness, true concern, and compassion.

Missions and Outreach

The Missions and Outreach Core Ministry is responsible for Christian programs directed toward, and in financial support of, individuals and communities in need both locally, regionally, and globally.

Connecting

The Connecting Core Ministry is responsible for welcoming and shepherding guests through membership, building a membership committed to growing in Christ and participating in the life of BBC through active ministry and service.

Deacons

The Deacons Core Ministry supports the Pastoral Staff in meeting the needs of BBC Covenant Members, the church congregation and its extended community, and by overseeing the caring ministries of BBC.

Buildings & Grounds

The Buildings & Grounds Team members share fellowship while working on simple projects to repair, maintain, or improve BBC facilities, such as yard clean-up and painting. Typical “work parties” last about 2 hours and occur once or twice a month, as needs arise.

Safety and Security Team

This team has developed policies and procedures to help promote the physical safety and security of people using the BBC building and/or people involved in church activities.
