Five Week All Church Small Group DVD Series with Pastor Doug
Each Sunday, Pastor Doug Scalise will be preaching on a parable from the Gospel of Luke. During the week, small groups will meet and study further about that parable and how it relates to us today.

Women’s Retreat
Women of the Bible – Victors, Victims, Virgins & Voices
June 4 – 6, 2010
Sacred Hearts Retreat Center, Wareham MA (Right on Buzzard’s Bay)
Plan now to join us in this beautiful setting for an uplifting time of spiritual growth, reflection and fellowship with other women. Our retreat leader, Rev. Mary Luti, will help us look at the women of the Bible – their strength, struggles, and their victories!
We hope you can stay for the entire weekend (Friday dinner at 6PM through breakfast and communion on Sunday). The formal retreat will conclude late on Saturday afternoon, then we will go out for a casual dinner together. A second overnight is optional for those who would like to stay to enjoy relaxed fellowship with old friends and new and a Communion Service on Sunday led by Rev. Jane Wallbrown.
The cost covers room, meals, speaker, treats and surprises – not to mention fellowship!

Small Groups
We encourage and support those of our congregation who wish to take part in small group Bible studies. Contact Nancy or Bob Smith by email, or call the church office, 508-896-3381, about small group opportunities.
Mom-to-Mom
Thursday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., following the Nauset school calendar.
Nursery is provided.
This group provides educational and emotional support and spiritual guidance to Cape Cod moms. Members of the group have children ranging in age from newborn to college, and each week we watch a video on a special topic pertinent to our lives as moms, discuss issues, support and pray for one another. Bible-based guidance is offered by compassionate, experienced moms. “Been there, done that…”
This year we are using several DVD series. The first is “Inside-Out Parenting,” by Linda Schultz Anderson, who is the founder of Mom-to-Mom nationwide. Her belief is that a mom needs to continually grow personally and relationally in order to be successful in marriage and child-rearing.
We will end the year on a lighter note with Kevin Leman’s series, “Have a New Kid by Friday.”
