The parsonage has had remodeling done twice in the last 6 years.
First Floor:
- Kitchen - Remodeled in 2005 to include tile floor, honey oak cabinets, new refrigerator, glass top oven and range hood microwave. Additional cabinets were added to increase storage including two pantry cabinets and a breakfast island that separates the kitchen and dining room. In 2010, a new dishwasher was put in. There is also an existing large walk-in pantry.
- Dining Room - During the renovations, a slider was added to the dining room leading to the newly added deck. There are also two existing corner built-in wall cabinets and hardwood floors.
- Living Room - Large living room with a working fireplace, hardwood floors and built-in cabinets on either side of the fireplace.
- Bedroom - Large bedroom with a full bathroom that was renovated in 2010.
Second Floor:
- Three bedrooms – All hardwood floors with a lot of storage space.
- Full bathroom - Fully Renovated in 2010.
Additional Features:
- Large basement with a washer and dryer.
- All windows were replaced in renovations.
- 12 x 24 deck across the back of the house.
- Oversized one car garage.
- Large yard.
The parsonage is right next door to the church on one side, and to our wonderful Brewster Ladies Library, on the other side. It’s just a short walk to the Brewster General Store, Brewster Village Marketplace and Cape Cod Bay.
Here are pictures taken in May and June of 2010, showing the final stages of the renovation and cleaning done in the parsonage. The Building and Grounds Team completed so much work!
