Called Out Quartet

We have been blessed to host Called Out Quartet (CO4) from Tennessee in 2008 and 2009, and we are delighted that they will be returning to BBC on Saturday, August 28, at 7:00 p.m.

The group will also sing at each morning service on August 29.

For those who aren’t as familiar with Southern Gospel, on their website it is described as

“…real music touching real people.  There is no deeper tradition in Southern Gospel than the all-male quartet, and it’s in that tradition that Called Out Quartet sings today.  Formed in 2002, Called Out Quartet is quickly becoming one of Southern Gospel’s favorite quartets as they mix tried and true hymns with the new songs of today that still have that same old message of Christ and Him crucified.  Through testimony in song, CO4 sets out week after week to reach the lost with God’s beautiful message of redemption and to encourage and lift up His children.”

Softball Semi-Final Friday!

On Friday, July 30 at 7:45 pm, the Brewster Baptist Church softball team will play The New Testament Church of Cedarville in a semi-final playoff game.

Because we have a few players from Marston Mills Community Church, which doesn’t have enough players to field their own team, our team is known affectionately as “The BUMMS,” which stands for Brewster United Marston Mills Softball.

Friday’s game is at Old Town House Field which is located off Station Ave in Yarmouth. Coming from Route 6, take Exit 8, and head south on Station Ave. Turn right at the second light and the field is about a half mile on the right.

Church Softball Playoff Game

On Friday, July 23 at 6:15, the Brewster Baptist Church softball team (9-3) will play Christ Chapel (8-4) in an opening round play off game. This will be a rematch of a game played on July 2, that Brewster won 2-1.

Because we have a few players from Marston Mills Community Church, which doesn’t have enough players to field their own team, our team is known affectionately as “The BUMMS,” which stands for Brewster United Marston Mills Softball.

Our team enters the playoffs having won six straight games. Come on out and have a good time fellowshipping with other folks from BBC and encourage our team on Friday evening.

Friday’s game is at Old Town House Field which is located off Station Ave in Yarmouth. Coming from Route 6, take Exit 8, and head south on Station Ave. Turn right at the second light and the field is about a half mile on the right.
