WE ARE LOOKING FOR DIGITAL CAMERA PHOTOS of the Holiday Fair for the Annual Meeting year-in-review PowerPoint presentation.  If you have any you would be willing to share, please call the church office.

BEFORE ATTENDING THE ANNUAL MEETING on Tuesday, February 8, at 7:00 p.m., plan to come a little early at 5:30 p.m. and satisfy your desire for a bit of Italy!  Our in-house Italian chef, Elsa Scott, ably assisted by Suzanne Clowry, will create a “squisito” chicken parmesan dinner.  Reservations are necessary.  Please sign up at the Welcome Center by January 31.  A free-will offering will be received.

LIFE CHOICE HOSPICE IS OFFERING an eight-week Grief and Loss Support Group, free and open to the community.  The meetings will be held at the EPOCH Assisted Living at Brewster Place, 855 Harwich Road in Brewster, from 10:30 a.m. to noon on eight consecutive Mondays starting February 7, ending March 28.  Meetings will be co-facilitated by Rev. Dr. Lee Vermont and Kathy Clouther, LCSW.  For any questions or additional information, please contact Kathy Clouther, hospice social worker, at 508-896-1152.

THE MEN OF BBC ARE INVITED to a new once-a-month Bible study starting Tuesday, January 18, in Fellowship Hall.  Evenings together will begin at 6:00 p.m. with dinner; donations will be received to offset the cost of the meal.  At 6:30 p.m. we will begin our 50-minute episode of The Band of Brothers.  Following the DVD, there will be a break for dessert and an opportunity to share in round table discussions centered on a theme that will be taken from each episode.  Pastor Dave will lead a closing message, allowing us to leave by 8:30 p.m. at the latest.  This will not be your father’s or your grandfather’s Bible study.  This will be a study definitely geared toward men and their needs and concerns.  A sign-up sheet is available in the lobby.  All men interested in attending are asked to sign up so that we will have a number when planning the dinner.  Please join us!

THE WOMEN’S FELLOWSHIP will meet on Wednesday, January 12, at 9:30 a.m., in the old fellowship hall.  Come for coffee and a snack, as well as fellowship.  Our speaker will be Maralee Dawn from Vancouver, British Columbia, who is visiting Cathie Kroeger.  Maralee is an author, host of the Canadian TV series, “Passionate Women,” as well as a biblically-based TV series for children.  She travels the world crusading for women’s rights to worship as they wish, leads children’s ministries, and is herself a mother and grandmother.  Inspired by Pastor Doug’s sermon on January 2, she will elaborate on how we as women can deal with whatever occurs in our lives in the year ahead.

THE NEXT MEN’S MINISTRY breakfast will be held on Saturday, January 15, at 8:00 a.m. in Fellowship Hall.  After sharing breakfast, there will be a presentation by John Smack.  The men of BBC will experience an internet resource on participating in a nationwide Bible study in the comfort of your home––when you want it.  Additional information and a sign-up sheet are at the Welcome Center or contact Bill Carter.
