FIND A FUN PROJECT
GIFT BASKETS—A FUN PROJECT for the canny shoppers among us. First—pick a theme. Second—go shopping! Collect the ingredients for a Gift Basket for the Holiday Fair. Maybe a selection of herbal teas, with some enticing tea-time snacks? Or a double deck of cards, score pads and pencils and a bag of delicious candies for an ardent bridge player? BBC Gift Baskets are high on the Fair-shopper’s list so let your imagination lead you, and put your finds aside until nearer to Fair time.
IS IT ALCHEMY? It does seem the BBC knitters can turn woolen into gold when they knit for the Holiday Fair Knitwear Table. Time to start a project for the Fair—sweaters, caps, mittens, something for baby—knitters know their stuff!
IF IT’S COOL ENOUGH to knit it’s cool enough to think about fall clean-up, clean-out, and Attic Treasures for the Holiday Fair. When you are up in the attic, out in the garage or rearranging kitchen shelves, put aside the good things you no longer need or have room for. You can be sure they will go to a good home and the BBC Holiday Fair will have hit another one out of the ball park!
